Quality & food safety
Products that meet national and international standards, handled under the sanitary and phytosanitary requirements of both origin and destination.
A Lao-owned import–export enterprise trading poultry, food and spice products — founded on food safety, reliable supply and honest dealing.
01 — Company overview
S-KHAM Import–Export Co., Ltd is a Lao-owned trading enterprise specialising in the poultry and food industry. From our base in Vientiane Capital we move food and poultry products in both directions — carrying frozen poultry, meat and spices between international suppliers, the Lao market and the wider region.
We trade B2B and quote on CIF and the other standard Incoterms, holding every consignment to the certification its destination requires — HALAL included where the market or the buyer calls for it. Temperature integrity from the loading dock to the destination, honest grading and documentation that clears the first time are the disciplines the business is built around.
Everything we handle moves under applicable food-safety and sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) requirements, with cold-chain and storage arrangements matched to the commodity. We are registered and licensed to trade through the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Department of Import and Export, and we hold our own paperwork to the same standard we hold our cargo. Our ambition is not to be the largest trader in the Lao PDR, but the one buyers and suppliers return to — because the weight is right, the temperature held, and the shipment arrived when we said it would.

02 — Vision & mission
To be a leading and trusted Lao import–export company in the food sector, recognised for quality, integrity, and contribution to the growth of Laos' food trade.
Our visionFood trade lives or dies on condition. Our contribution is to prove — shipment by shipment — that the specification agreed in writing is the specification that arrives, at the temperature it was promised and with the certificates the destination actually asked for.
Core values
Products that meet national and international standards, handled under the sanitary and phytosanitary requirements of both origin and destination.
Honest, transparent and lawful business conduct — in grading, in weight, in documentation and in what we tell a customer when something goes wrong.
Consistent supply and dependable delivery. A commitment on a lead time is a commitment, not an estimate.
Shared success with suppliers, customers and the businesses we deliver to. A supplier squeezed to breaking point is not a supply chain.
03 — Ownership & structure
S-KHAM Import–Export Co., Ltd is privately owned and managed by three partners who jointly hold the company's shares and direct its operations. Each partner carries a distinct functional responsibility, and each is reachable by a customer.
Keeping ownership and management in the same hands is a deliberate choice. It means the person who signs a contract is the person accountable for the shipment, and decisions that would otherwise wait for a committee are taken the same day.
Overall strategy, government and institutional relations, licensing and legal compliance, and the company's relationships with its principal buyers.
Sourcing and procurement, sales, contract execution, quality inspection, logistics coordination and customs clearance at both ends of the route.
Banking and trade finance, invoicing and settlement, tax and statutory reporting, and the financial controls behind every position the company takes.
04 — Legal & regulatory compliance
S-KHAM operates in full compliance with the laws and regulations of the Lao PDR. The company holds, or is in the documented process of obtaining, every registration and licence required to conduct import and export activity:
The company maintains proper records throughout and cooperates fully with customs, tax and food-safety authorities.
05 — Business objectives
Objectives stated plainly, so that progress against them can be measured rather than asserted.
Open and prove dependable channels for poultry, food and spice products within the first year of operation, in both trade directions.
Develop a vetted network of international suppliers and B2B buyers, with terms and specifications recorded and repeatable.
Increase volumes in both directions, adding value through grading, cold storage and packing wherever it can be done in Laos.
Hold legal, tax and food-safety compliance at all times, treating a clean record as a commercial asset rather than an administrative burden.
Support employment and a reliable food supply within the Lao PDR through steady import volumes and long-term trading relationships.
